60,000 people have now been infected by the Coronavirus worldwide.  In an effort to stop the spread of the deadly virus China has come up with a rare original idea, when they started using robots to combat the sickness.  Robots have already been deployed in Chinese cities to minimize the risk of infection by delivering medicine, and disinfecting surfaces in hospitals.

Japan, never to be outdone when it comes to the use of fighting robots, took the idea quite literally.  On Monday the country deployed Mobile Suit Gundam and Mechagodzilla to combat and defend against the outbreak.

The robots immediately disregarded the Coronavirus and began to battle each other, completely destroying the city of Osaka in the process. Optimus Prime, who attempted to stop the brawl, was quoted as saying, “The good people of Earth should never again put their trust in giant robots who can’t transform into cars and planes and things.”
